Mike Nelson,Extinction Beckons, 2000

Published to accompany Mike Nelson’s exhibition The Coral Reef at Matt’s Gallery 26 January–26 March 2000. This book is a 128 page survey of Nelson’s work over the previous 9 years, documenting 23 projects. Each section is composed of considerable visual documentation of each installation/sculpture, the artist's sketches and plans and complemented by a series of commissioned texts by Jaki Irvine, which explore themes and concerns within Nelson’s work.
